Mare's icon trim weight pocket problems?

Hi, one of my buddy's dive clubs bought the Mare's icon in a lot for the club. In that lot, I believe 3 people (including my buddy) so far have had the trim pockets rip on them and have had to send it in for repair. Is this a problem that is know with the icon or was it just that one particular batch that may have had something wrong with it (or just a fluke altogether). I was thinking of buying an icon as my "travel" BC and was a bit concerned.

Hi,
There was a batch where a seam of the trim pocket was a little weak. These bcd's were replaced with new and all current and future bcd's have been reinforced. You can purchase with confidence. In fact the Icon was chosen as a testers choice in travel bcd review of the May 08 edition of Scuba Diving Magazine.
