Mares Icon Hd - Safety Stop

The default safety stop for a Mares Icon HD is set at 3 meter.

Question: Can the safety stop be set at 6 meter and if so where please?

For a number of reasons we do our compulsory safety stop at 6m resulting in the Mares Icon HD considering the stop as being part of the dive with obvious consequences.

The Icon starts counting the safety stop at 6 meters and continues the count unless you go above 3 meters. The manual says to stay between 6 and 3 meters until the safety stop count goes to zero.

@Fanie Jordaan If you mean is there a way to set a certain depth/time for the safety stop - no, it can't be defined by the user.

Kharon is correct that the icon counts the safety stop for 3 minutes when your depth is between 3 - 6 m. If you need to do it longer, switch to the timer and make a note of the time when the counter reaches 0, and then add the extra time.
