Hey!

Just bought a new Mares Hybrid AT MRS+.

But I'm having some trouble with the fitting.
I was stupid enough to buy it without trying it on, but asked the shop what size I should use and they said XL.
The thing is that I have broad shoulders and a big chest but my waist is a bit small, weight around 90-93kg.
Looking at the size guide, all of my measurements except the waist fits so the seller told me that the XL would fit nicely....

Got it today and tried it on, the shoulder straps are just a bit long(but works fine). But the stomach
is way loose, the "velcro?" strap only overlap 1 inch(2-3 centimeters) and the waist buckle is way too loose(without weights).
It's my first vest with integrated weights and have never tried it on with weights, but they can't possibly add enough width for it too fit, right?

So do you guys think a Medium/Large vest would fit me better?
Or could you recommend another vest?
I´d really like to try out the AirTrim, and I'm mostly going to use it as a travel BCD(have a wing at home).
I like a lot of rings, pockets and want it to feel more stable so don't want any "simple" travel BCD.

Hope my English ain't that bad and that you understand everything.

//Best Regards
Sören

Hi Soren,
Hard to know exactly what will fit you since there is a big difference between your shoulders and waist. Best bet is to get into the store and start trying on vests. I know that one of the most versatile are the Zeagle because you can actually put together a medium or large waist section and an extra large shoulder section. They designed their BCD line like this so you could mix and match. Go get measured and see how well it works.
