Is there a difference in the delivery of air when pushing the purge button between the old abyss model (1996), an abyss from 2004 and the Ruby?

Or is this related to the tuning of the reg, given that they have the same internals?
Do they need to be tuned differently, and if so how?

Inflating lifting buoys is so much easier with many bubbles :)

It's all in regulator tuning and the proper lever height being achieved

Unless there is a change in the parts, which I do not believe there is. The problem is that the purge usually bottoms out before the lever does, thus you only get so much gas, so yes it is a tuning issue. However, on the other hand you can only tune the regulator so much before it begins to trickle....
