Hi, I'm looking for opinions. Diver on a budget here. My wife currently has a 7/5 Henderson goldcore fullsuit, and we're wanting to add something for extra warmth, mostly for southern California shore diving (temp about 55F?). We've been looking at hooded vests, but then saw a great price on these Mares suits (5mm thermic shorty w/ attached hood) at scuba.com (also diversdiscount.com). Would this be appropriate to wear over a henderson goldcore fullsuit? I wouldn't want her to wear it underneath since the goldcore lining should be next to the skin. Oh, and she wears a size 4 (XS) henderson, so I'm guessing a small (6) would be the way to go if she wore it outside the fullsuit. Sound right?
