Greetings fellow cave divers I am going to be in the area at Cave Excursions for spring break just checking to see who else will be there.
It is always good to catch up with old friends and make new ones as well.
I will be with my family but plenty of time to visit the local attractions.

I would have loved to attend the clean up at Madison but work obligations have set me back a day.
I have not ruled out going there before we stop at our lodging but my wife might have a thing or two to say about that!
Everyone is excited to see the springs and I am going out of my mind these last few days.
Take care all and hope to see you soon,

Great trip to cave country still here but leaving tomorrow. :(
Actually made it to Madison but late on Saturday for the clean up missed most of the action.
Like a blister I showed up at dinner time!
Traveled to many springs did not dive them all but learned many new dive opportunities.

Enjoyed a great dive at Peacock with a new friend today to the end of the Peanut line.
I had a absolutely incredible time diving with my wife and kids, with out a doubt I have cavern divers on the way with possible cave never know.

I had a dive at Ginnie in the Ballroom that every father dreams of with his daughter and wife!
When I saw the lights in their eyes it made the moments priceless even if it cost $30 to dive there.
We spent the day and two hours in the water first at the Ballroom then at Little Devil, Devils Eye, and Devils Ear.
No lights for OW divers but we pushed into all the cave entrances loving every minute.
Thought for a while that it would bother me not getting a real cave dive in there but it was far to much fun being with my family.
Plenty of time for more trips in the future.

Take are all safe diving.

Sometimes it's nice just to go scope things out. Have you gotten your cave training yet, or are you still intro cave?

Hey Cam! It was good to run into you at Cave Excursions the other day. We left for home on Thursday, but got in 2 days of diving at Peacock, 1 day a Little River, 2 days at Madison & 1 day at Ginnie before that. I was able to get in 10 out of a possible 12 dives. Had to sit one out because of not feeling well & another because of equipment issues that I could not get resolved in time. Overall I had a great time & vastly improved my air consumption. I am finally getting that experience I so badly wanted a few months ago.:blinking:

Rob, lost out on my full cave training for April due to job and family constraints but have rescheduled for Jan 2012 unless something unseen happens.
I have been moving ahead very slowly not to push my training / experence.
What I have discovered is that my air consumption is improving steadily as well as distance per psi.
My goal was to be full and Trimix by the end of the summer but goals sometimes take This is my first hick up so to speak so I am taking it with a grain of salt and using the time to build valuable information and experience.

Tammy it is always great to run into you and you got to meet the whole family.
It has been a trip of firsts for all of us and one that sealed the deal on training for them!
That was my intention and it was obvious after Ginnie it was a done deal.
Even my son who has been dragging his feet is determined to get his OW done when we return.
We managed to visit springs every day and what I can say for myself I must get closer to this treasure of nature!

For all the SB members who encouraged me and inspired me I owe great thanks and gratitude.
This environment "cave and cavern" have brought my personal diving to a level I never even dreamed of.
I have continued to meet incredible people and build relationships with some great people here in cave country as well as all over the US!

Safe diving all and live the dream!
