I would post more but imageshack is slow this morning.
We went to the Palancar Bricks and then did the end of Cedar pass and the beginning of Santa Rosa. Saw two Eagle Rays at Santa Rosa... I didn't get any pictures, tried to get to video mode but ended up turning off the camera. I just sat and watched after that. First dive was 1:12 minutes second was 1:14 minutes which makes an average of 1:13 on the 13th day of the month:cool2:. Four green turtles at the end of Palancar bricks.

I feel your pain about learning a new camera setup but I'm sure it won't take you long to master. From the quality and detail I see in this shot, I think the new camera is a keeper Give my best to Kim, Mark, Tim and the rest of the gang at Aldora and keep the pictures coming!

March or no March, hate to tell ya, but seems like SV fits in perfectly with 'A''s crazy women divers ..... you are SOOOO outnumbered!!:mooner:

Not great pictures, but we saw THREE Spotted Eagle Rays on Cedral Pass today!!! 2 small ones zipped by, then one larger one came by a bit later. Was way cool!!! Throw in an 8 ft shark, a couple squid, and a ton of barracuda, and it was a banner day!!!

I love it here in Cozumel at Villa Aldora.
Liang (divemaster extraordinaire), the staff here (Brent with help from Steve), plus some of the guests got together for a beach BBQ last night. We are in one of the big rooms so we prepped almost everything in our kitchen/room. It was alot of work for the few of us in the kitchen and our friend Kevin from Oregon that manned the grill. The food and company was unforgettable. We ate under the stars out by the water with candle light. There was fresh fish, pork tenderloin, chicken, lion fish ceveche, two different Salsa's, guacamole, stuffed jalapeno's, lots of chille releno, a Tortilla bake, homemade sausage dip, Ice cold soda's, cervaza, margaritas, sangria, Liang's great recipe for warm dark chocolate brownies for desert plus I'm sure there are some other things I'm forgetting. Liang, Brent and Steve really went out their way to make this happen. I ate more than my fill as did most everyone I talked to. Diving make's me hungry and the food was great. Dave Dillehey the owner of Aldora Divers and the Villa picked up the tab. Thank You Dave!!! There are definite perks to being loyal to Dave and Aldora all of these years. We dove for 5 days strait and are taking a day off today. There five of us that are going rent a taxi for the day and go to the wild East side for a day at the beach(s).

This was out on the sand flat at Villa Blanca, sorry for the crappy image. Liang pointed this out. It is a Female Conch laying her egg's and attaching the eggs to the coral. White area is the eggs coming out:


Here are some eggs in their holder/sac attached to some small coral that were found further down:



I also got some good video. They are not long but there are good.

Seven for sure. Maybe a couple more from the Villa... Some are coming, some are going. Saturdays can be pretty busy with peeps traveling.
