Manufacturer refurbished camera question

I posted this on the main page now here, has anyone here ever purchased an Oly refurbished camera, if so, was it worth it or would you do it again? I am eyeballing a EPM1 on an auction site and am torn between a refurbished vs. used one. Thanks for you input, Brian.

Brian, I have bought both refurb and used from individuals on eBay. In fact most of my UW camera gear is off eBay. When buying from an individual, the one question is ask is the number of shutter releases. Take a pic and look at the EXIF data. Depending upon the camera, the number of shutter releases is listed. The less the better. I have bought Oly, Canon, Nikon, Nikonos, Sony, Inon, Sea & Sea…all off eBay as well as various housings, strobes, arms, etc. Never had a bad deal. I try to get the best deal for the least cash as the loss from a flood is minimized and I can often buy two used bodies for the price of a single new camera.

Thanks for the input and information. In my haste I couldn't wait in fear of losing out on what I considered a good deal. I purchased a remanufactured E-PM1 and a new Oly housing. Now I need to use it and learn what lens' will work best for me so I will probably be posting a good bit on here.
