Manuallly white balancing videos with G15

The g15 definitely respects the white balance setting in video mode. One thing to note is you can also re-balance video in lightroom. Unfortunately I can't recall the exact procedure but it roughly involves taking a single frame from the video and then working the correction on that, then there's some option to apply those corrections back to the video. A friend showed me once how to do it and it just blew me away, I'm going to have to go write down the steps to make it happen, but I know it can be done. (sorry I'm not remembering the exact technique)
 
For Video ... I use most of the time "Sony Movie Studio" this has White Balance, Colour Correction and a whole bundle of tools you can apply to a complete section of video, a group of frames or whole video.
As a graphically intuitive video editor it's had to beat. If I need to do something a bit more specific - eg noise removal, frame repair, denoise ... I use Virtual Dub (free)
