I have a Manta Jr reel and the springs in the handle appear to be a little soft. The reel will let out extra line unnecessarily without me pulling on it, if I am riding my DPV fast.
Anyone know what size they? I was hoping to replace or tighten up the reel
Any help is much appreciated!

Could you tighten the reel a little? Or deepen the notch so it catches better?

I sold my jr. back a bit ago, just not feeling the love for it. Didn't like the spool Just came across this:

Wow, that would have been a nice upgrade ..

@happy-diver good idea

@MrChen i certainly can, what part would I tighten on the reel?
It's my understanding that the center nut can be adjusted. It'll affect how easily the reel spins.

I used a buddies a few months ago and he had it so tight, I had to pull the string out by hand on descent. We loosened up the nut a hair and it was better.
