Manta Ray Dive/Snorkel for Group of 12

We are returning to Kona with our families the last week of June and first week of July. (Counting the days!) We are interested in setting up a manta ray night dive/snorkel trip for a group of 12 people -- it should be 6 divers and 6 snorkelers. Honestly, we'd all be willing to just to snorkel if that's easiest for a group our size -- we've done it as a snorkel before, and it's still really good. Any recommendations for a good charter with a boat large enough to accommodate the 12 of us? Many thanks!

Jack's has several different boats that can accommodate groups of almost any size. They normally offer the trip as a 2-tank dive. However, as a private group, you could request 1 or 2-tank. Divers and snorkelers would be welcome. I recommend e-mailing them. That way the person who specializes in groups will be able to provide you with details. The e-mail address is on their website. Several other companies can handle a group of 12 too. Big Island Divers, Neptune Charlie, Dive Makai, Jacks, Dive Tek, and Bottom Time. All have certified vessels that can take 12. There are a few others too, this is not a complete list. Google searching the above names will yeld the contact info. Set up your reservation soon. That is a busy time of year. Also ask "how much to charter the boat" before you tell how many you have. Many companies will offer you a better deal. YOU DID NOT HEAR THAT FROM ME!!! I gotta live in this town.
