Manila taxi drivers on the meter

i had quite a talk with a taxi driver earlier today while we were driving along C-5. he said he used to bring home Php600 a day now, he'd be lucky to be able to earn Php350. thats for a 14-hour shift.

sighs.

although, this man is quite impressive. he got all his kids, except the youngest who is still in his senior year in college, finished school and are all working.... made me so proud of him.

paid him way more than the meter.
