Does anyone know a place to snorkel with the manatee's around the Ft. Meyers area? We are looking for a place, but know nothing about the area accept a friend said they see them when they are kayaking around Sanibel Island.

Try the Conch Divers Forum, its specific to Florida.

How far are you willing to drive? Crystal River is full of em, its best to snorkel with them during the winter when the water in the gulf/ocean is colder than the water in the springs. When the gulf/ocean is warmer, they hang out in the salt water.
