Anyone been to the Maldives lately who can tell me about weather and diving conditions right now? I am leaving next week, and the reports on various weather sites on the net doesn't look too good.

I was in the Maldives last week (North Ari Atoll). Topside the conditions were beautiful, yet diving conditions were disappointing for the Maldives. Viz. varied between 5-10 metres, maybe 15 max. Supposedly before my arrival they had 10 straight days of rough weather which kicked up a lot of sediment. Good luck!
