Maldives - without flight

...no I'm not going there swimming ...
I'll be in India and I would take to take the opportunity
to dive Maldives. I will fly from Trivandrum to Male. Then what??
I could not find any operator which sells
liveaboards or resorts without flight (from Europe or wherever).
Any suggestion for loooow budget liveaboard or resort.
Since I'll travel alone I will have to pay xtra for single room, and I definitely do not need luxury rooms...
I'm planning to be there Oct 24th to Nov 1st.
