Maldives water temperatures in November?

What would the water temperatures be around the Maldives in November?

Is it a good season to dive there?

Looking to dive at Hulhumale for the "Shark Tank" and Maafushi island after that.

Never been in November, but my most recent trips in June and December both averaged 29-30, maybe a degree cooler at 30 metres. Visibility is generally at its best around Nov/Dec.

Shorty or 1mm wetsuit should suffice. Hulhumale water can be murky as there is a lot of runoff from the city drains into the ocean waters nearby.

On my trip there, I wasn’t comfortable being around Tiger Sharks in such murky conditions… add Bull Sharks to the mix to further bump the anxiety levels … pics and videos didn’t come out well either. Fuvamulah on the other hand … so nice being so remote …
