Who's been diving in the Maldives and stayed somewhere that was amazing, both for diving and for hanging out? If it's expensive, that's ok as long as it's worth it.

Take a look at these: Naladhu, Angsana, Taj Exotica, Anantara, O&O Reethi, Coco island, Four Seasons Kuda Huraa, Banyan Tree, O&O Kanuhura, Kurumba, Soneva Gili.
I was on a FAM trip there and these were some on the hot list. Way too fancy for me. Dressing for dinner for me means a new t-shirt.

My Family & I spent 2 weeks on Bandos Island.
Very nice Dive Centre, 3 boat dives a day. House Reef is not bad either, snorkelling is great.

(Oh they have a hyperbaric chamber and a diver doctor too which is nice to know)
