Just returned from the Komandoo resort in the Maldives. The dive staff were long time instructors that had been working the Maldives for many years. I didn't do any course work with them, but I suspect they would do a good job. We had one dive that was spectacular, Sharks, Rays every where along with Tuna, a huge Turtle, Barracuda etc. The other dives were good/very good. Turtles are fairly common, fish density is good but less than Bunaken in Indonesia. Either I missed it or the micro stuff just wasn't around. Almost no Nudibrach's, lower than expected shrimp density. Main complaint was the 2 dive a day mentality, with a 60 min/dive time limit. Overall a very good dive place, but pretty pricey.
