Hi Tim I actually have been looking for a liveaboard for Sangalaki+Kakaban trip and found few but the problem is that non of the operator haven´t replied.
May be they hve prob with Indonesia?

Hi Boxer. They probably do not have enough request to do the trip or probably also due to the monsoon season. Some operators are closed for the season and will only commence around March/April next year. I do not think it is due to problems with Indonesia. Try some of the operators in Singapore. I heard the also offer trips to Sangalaki.

Dive side around Mantanani are ranging from 7 - 25m.. lots od different dive site around, lots to discover.. More then 200 species of nudibranch been recorded including some un identified speciese. besides, Blue ring octopus, Marble Ray, Eagle Ray easily been found.. School of barracuda can be found certain time of the year.. Nicky (The dugong) been station around the island, playing with divers since Apr 2005.. But he's been away for holiday recently.. As ni sign of sea grass around the island during at this moment; Nicky might be away seeking for foods..

They are a PADI 5 star dive centre and service is just as good as at the island resorts that cost a lot more

The said island are also right infront of the Tun Sakaran Marine Park ( The largest marine park in Sabah, covering 340 km sq. of sea and coral reefs and 10 km sq. of land. )
