Hello all,

I am leaving for malapascua and moalboal in a couple weeks and can't decide which fins to bring. I prefer my full foot fins (easier to pack, less to forget/lose/break, more comfortable). I only wear my booty+open heal fins when I am doing shore diving or cold water diving.

In malapascua and moalboal I plan to do as many of the day trips as I can: pescador, gato, klangaman etc.

For those that have been to these places - which fins do you recommend I bring?

Thanks!

My experience with Malapascua is that you can get away with using the full fins without much of an issue. I've never done Moalboal so other can chime in on that.

Ecept if you do shore dives for the sardines schools (you can dive them from a boat but that means later and more divers) and night dives, you won't need any booties for Moalboal that are mostly boat dives.
