I have acquired a good working vintage Mako k13 using a Bauer block marked k8, running at only 750 rpm.

Is someone familiar enough with this compressor to know if it is continuous duty suitable for filling a bank or only intended for a few bottles at a time like the new small Bauers?

I have a k13 which I had rebuilt about 3 years ago. These are pretty stout little pumps. They have pressurized oil lubrication as opposed to the splash lubrication you find on cheaper compressors.
When Arnold Henry at Masterline rebuilt this for me I believe he told me that these will run all day long with out a problem. Being only a 2.75 CFMish compressor it would take a long time to fill banks of any size. I regularly run mine 3 to 4 hours at a shot without any issues

Thanks for the perfect answer!
I have another compressor for filling banks that has auto-drains and shutoff but this one is much more portable, especially now that I put wheels on it. I just did not want to exceed it's safe capabilities. Now I need to find some better filtration without spending a bundle...
