Has anyone made a generic HP seats for SP Mk2+ with success? Why is it hard to make one and do they come in odd shapes and mixture of materials? I don't know much about HP seats so would like to learn some basic facts about HP seats. Thanks in advance.

I believe but have no definate proof that most of the HP seats were some form of nylon. I have refinished old seats by turning them in a lathe and polishing with 600 wet/dry sandpaper.
