Make Vyper light longer than 30 sec ?

Anyone know if it's possible to tweak it having the light glow longer than the max 30 sec ?
Not saying i really need it to do so, but just curious if anyone have managed a software "hack" like that

I haven't heard of a "hack". Though it probably wouldn't be the most prudent idea to mess with the software that provides such important information. According to page 29 of the manual the backlight can be set from 5-30 seconds.

I take your point. It's not like i would just mess about with some random software from a random user on SB. Don't get me wrong.
But thought it _might_ be some good, trusted software out there that would do the job.. it's not like it really should be any more difficult than user updating software (...that many producers offer), with the right software that is

A push on/push off system like in the Galileo is nice for night diving, and the battery is fine for that.
