Wanted to ask what users of 4 PIN connectors and computers have been doing to care for their cable ends?

with fisher ports there are some work to keep them operating properly, and wanted to see what was suggested to keep these operating properly.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Well the 4-pin wet-mate just need a touch of lube when you put them together. That is about it. I specifically looked for a non-fischer connector for my computers when I was getting them.

For these 4 PIN, are they like E/O ports with just 4 PINS on them vs 1 ?
do you need to CAP the cable end, or the computer end if you dive the computer without your rebreather?

They are like the E/O ports. They do make caps for them, but I don't have them. I still have my pre-rebreather stand alone Shearwater if I ever go open circuit again.
