Hubby and I are going out on an open boat. I just spoke to Jerry and he said we only have 7 divers. We are going anyway, but I just thought y'alld like to know...

I like the Magician when it's not overwhelmed by Sport Chalet students and uptight instructors.
There was one instructor who told me that I should be a good example to the OW students by doing a proper giant stride instead of doing a forward roll. Another told me that my hood with "Look Ma, No Snorkel" isn't funny.

Hey LanikaiGirl: does the Magician still go out when only a few divers sign up? I know other boats will cancel out if less than 15 divers are signed on.

I would never say something like that to a diver...I might saw something to my students...LOL...but...I do think the remark on your hood is funny.

Some people just have no sense of humor. :cool2: I think it's hilarious. I had a DM once give me a hard time about not wearing a snorkel. This was in French Polynesia, where apparently they don't have to worry about frisky sea lions sneaking up behind you and ripping your mask off your face by grabbing your snorkel! I told him to come dive with me out a Sea Lion Rookery off Anacapa - and then talk to me about wearing a snorkel.
