Maggie and Zee visit Dr. B

After years of friendship here on ScubaBoard and Facebook, Maggie Rona, Zee Malota and Dr. Bill finally met face-to-face. Zee and Maggie braved the time zone differences and an early morning wake-up to catch the early boat out to Catalina Island from Dana Point on mainland California. Dr. Bill picked them up in the Dr. Bill Mobile (golf cart) and gave them the 10 cent tour of the City of Avalon including (of course) the Casino Point Dive Park. They brought no dive gear and conditions were less than optimal so we "dove dry" inside one of the semi-submersibles so they could view the kelp forests. A good time was had by all, and they caught the boat back that evening... just in time to avoid a predicted storm with 17-18 ft (~6 m) seas!
