For the cuttlefish shots both strobes attached to the camera on the strobe arms.This is excellent! Are you using a muck stick for the second strobe or attached to the housing?
RH strobe was higher and aimed over the subject with the snoot central over the lens port which allows me to move forward to the subject.
The seahorse photo was taken with the second strobe on a muck stick backlighting the area using a longer fibre optic cable.

There's lots of variables involved from what colours to use as well as the snoot diameter, which can also be changed based on how far you are from the subject, and of course power settings.
