I am considering getting the Panasonic LX5/Ikelite housing combo. Looking to get into a compact/lightweight UW setup.
I will also want the wide angle adapter, and a macro adapter as well. My question is, where or how do you carry these adapters while diving. Is there some attachment to the tray that they fasten to? For my diving I will be switching between "scenic" (with the wide angle) to "macro" pretty regularly and I want to get an idea of how easy this is to do.
Also, can you get true macro with the telephoto end of the lens, with the appropriate macro lens in place? Most p and s cameras have the ridiculous feature of "macro" at the extreme wide angle end of the lens instead of the tele end, making true macro work impossible. I want to know if the macro adapter lens gives you true macro ability but with the reasonable working distance of the tele end.
Also, any progress on the GF-1 or GF-2 housings? I might prefer to wait for these due to the much better image quality and the availability of the 45mm Leica macro lens.
