Atlantis Philippines - Dive Resorts & Liveaboards is happy to announce an exciting new itinerary for the luxury liveaboard, Atlantis Azores.
Starting in January 2015 and running to March 2015, Azores will operate 7-night charters out of Malapascua on the northern tip of the island of Cebu. This itinerary will allow divers to interact with the now famous Thresher Sharks in that area and also dive some of the more remote areas not easily accessible from land based operations.
The charters will be Saturday to Saturday and the week will start with a Sunday dawn dive on what is rapidly becoming one of the best known dive sites in the Philippines - Monad Shoal.  Guests will enjoy the Thresher Sharks and Manta's that frequent this area.
Other popular dive sites during the week are:
Gato Island which is a protected marine sanctuary. An almost guaranteed site to encounter sleeping sharks and sea snakes. Spectacular colored soft corals cover this dive site sheltering frogfishes, sea horses and nudibranches.
Wreck of the "Dona Marilyn" is a Filipino passenger ferry that was sunk in October 1988. The 330 ft long ferry now lies intact on her starboard side creating a unique artificial reef.

Kemod Shoal is a sea mound situated near the island of Leyte. Throughout the year different large pelagics visit the shoal, including schools of hammerheads, manta rays and requiem sharks.
Calangaman Island is a small remote white-beached paradise. The southern section offers sloping reef walls covered with soft and hard corals, the northern sites offer spectacular wall dives encrusted with gorgonian fans and giant barrel sponges.
Ask us about our first season special of 13 paying and 3 free on this 2015 Malapascua itinerary - only 6 charter weeks available.
