Lurking, time to surface and say hello

I've been lurking the boards for almost a year now, occasionally browsing the classifieds for a good deal and figured I'd better introduce myself. Working on procuring the rest of my gear and trying to get in the water when I can. Lucky enough to have an experienced mentor who does his best to keep me from wasting my money on the wrong gear.

I'll try and find something constructive to add, but for the most part I'll probably keep my head down.

Welcome and don't keep your head down! Ask lots of questions and engage in the conversations. You can really learn a lot from the boards and people are generally very willing to share their knowledge!
