Hi all,

I have been lurking here for a number of months. Today I made my first cold water dives in 16 years (I used to do NJ wreck diving) at Breakwater. I did OK considering - I had over one hour bottom time on each dive using an AL 80. Here is a picture from the second dive. I will be joining dive clubs at Wallins and/or Diver Dan's to meet buddies. Does anyone have any comments on either that they would be willing to share - either in public or via PM?

I have a flexible schedule, so I am looking for buddies who can dive midweek to avoid the crowds. Give me a holler if this sounds good to you. You can see more of my background on my profile.

I'm in the club in Diver Dan's, good bunch of people, one shore dive and one boat dive every month, meetings on a wednesday before the dives. They also do a channel islands trip every year for club members, you just missed it though!! Did you want any particular info?

No, just general impressions. I just joined up, so maybe I'll see you on June 15.
