I want to add a thin lumber pad to my Dive Rite S/S plate. Which brand(s) of pads will mount to my D/R plate in a similar fashion to the way Halcyon pads mount to their plates-without drilling or custom grommeting? I know that Halcyon pads will NOT match the edge holes on a Dive Rite BP-at least I was told that by my LDS who carries Halcyon.

I do not like Dive Rite's Lumbar Pad. Too thick and mounts by threading the harness webbing through it as opposed to screwing it to the edge holes in the plate making for much simpler removal.

You're right Rock2r , the halcyon pad doesn't match the DR hole pattern. Nevertheless, I've added a Halcyon pad to a DR Aluminum plate with a couple of bookscrews and several zipties.
