hello guys and gals
it was suggested to update my profile and intro myself here if i was to participate in these forums. so here i am.
been diving on and off since 1990. more regular last 8 years. hope to stay on the boards to keep up my interest in between travel. may even get more into local diving now that changes at my job will allow me the time.
been diving in florida (keys and ginnie springs), freeport bahamas, antigua, sosua dominican republic, playa del carmen (ocean and cenotes), cozumel, jamaica (negril and trelawney), st lucia, st maarten, and saba.
have logged about 140 dives but thats over a long period so i consider myself an intermediate level diver. currently hold an nasds open water cert as well as padi advanced, padi nitrox, and an ssi cenote specialty. my goal is to get 3 more specialties along with either the ssi stress and rescue or the padi rescue diver and apply for master diver status. would love to quit work and take a couple of months or more to do a dive master internship just to say i did something i always wanted to do. but i don't think that will ever happen.
i love diving with my wife and my son (when i can) and hope to continue as long as possible.
maybe once and awhile i might be able to help someone out here on the boards or at least offer the opinion of one loudmouth schmuck from ontario canada eh !!
