Hi there fellow Ontario Divers:

I thought I'd post a request here just in case someone finds a LOST INTEGRATED WEIGHT (from my BCD) in and around the ROTHSAY near Prescott. (Lost on Sat Sept 4th)

I'm sure it popped loose near the "guide line" pretty close to the Rothsay. (Depth 31 feet) The bottom is limestone there and it might be easy to spot. Unfortunately, I did not notice it was gone until later.

Inside there is a 5 lb soft lead weight. (black)

Please see photo below, It's black with a "red release" button and is made by MARES.

Until it's found (or I buy another) I'll be a "tilted" bubblemaker. (lol)

Thanks everyone.

Al

Hey there,
A buddy and I dropped by the Rothesay parking area on Monday around noon, but we didn't end up diving. However, we noticed that someone had put one of those items in your photo on top of the wooden privacy partition around the porta-potty. I wondered if anyone had forgotten or dropped it. With any luck it should still be there.

Must have been a bad weekend for Mares, I left one near the line off the stern of the Lillie Parsons. Not like yours though, mine is a bigger pouch.

If anybody is mud digging down around there... sigh...

That would be it.... I wonder if its still there... It probably fell out of my BCD when I was taking off my gear.

I'll swing by there this afternoon and see if its still there. Wouldn't that be something if it was.

Thanks for the info....

Sorry about your lost weight. Maybe it was someone else's after all? You never know, yours could still be down there. Good luck.

try putting a plastic coated card with name and address or ph number in each pocket...cant hurt.
