I don't mark all my gear, although I should. Many, many years ago I put an orange P-Touch label on the bottom of my Hollis Bat Fins. They are still loud and proud! Without that, they look like everyone else's Bat Fins. Think of the horrors of having an imbalanced pair of fins.
So, that's another reason to mark your gear.
