I was staying at the Little Cayman Beach Resort June 6- 13, 2010 and was diving and my underwater camera and housing came loose from my arm and I didn't know it until after the dive. It's a small Sony cybershot with a Sony housing, no strobe. It has a gray strap which I had painted my last name, "Charnes" on the strap. I left my contact information with the dive shop at the resort. If anyone finds it, please contact me through the forum and there is a reward if returned. Thanks so much.

I was there during that same time period. If you dropped it in the shallows, assuming that it was negative, it probably would have been found by now, since the LC sites are very heavily dived. If you dropped it over the wall, I doubt that it will be seen any time soon.

Some years ago I "rescued" a camera that was dropped by a diver at the roll of the wall. I chased it to about 110' ;);), until I caught it. Since I was so deep, and the owner did not know that she had dropped it, I carried it for the rest of the dive amd gave it back to her on the boat. She did not even say thanks. LOL Maybe she was planning on collecting on an insurance policy.

I lost it at Marilyn's Cut. Reef divers did cirlce the area after the dive. My housing floats. The current would have taken it away from the reef the day we were diving, so it might end up in Cuba!
