The info is certainly useful, but the process of getting a replacement C-card is not nearly as daunting a task as many make it out to be...

Recently, when I needed to replace my card, I didn't have much of the info deemed "required" in the letter....Sure, if I had it, the process might have been 10-15 min quicker...

A simple phone call to YMCA telling them approx. when I was certified and where got me on the track...$25 and one week later I had a new card.

One member also said get a good color copy of your card and stow it in a ziplock bag with your gear on a passport or somewhere else! That way at least you have a pic and # in a pinch!
