I’m just at a loss…. Today my Yorkie died very unexpectedly.. I just can’t believe that he’s gone. I guess what is so hard about this is that I lost his twin brother 3 months ago very unexpectedly as well for totally different reasons.

I’m just in shock…. They were the reason I have a call name LakeRat… they looked like drowned rats at the lake!!

Any how… Just wanted to share my two stars with you guys….

It's tough, but it gets easier with time.
you'll never forget....but it won't hurt so bad.

our best pet ever was like a daughter to us for 11 yrs. she has been gone for 7 yrs now, but we still think of her often :)

... are with you. Loosing a pet is awful, but it does get better with time.. hang in there!

Just remember that it does get better. Just this past July, I lost my dog Sascha to cancer. 3 months later it's still difficult to write this, and I have caught my breath a couple of times, but I am much better now than in July, and I know I will be better next month.

I don't think it matters if it's unexpected. It's still devastating. Several years ago my father's dog, whom I considered practically mine because I spent so much time there, died very unexpectedly on a day trip. With Sascha, we knew for months that she would soon die. I even had to take her to the vet at the end, and it was just as devastating. A bit more so because she was my dog and I was ALWAYS with her, but I think it was just as bad to deal with that as with the shocking loss of Victor.

I have to stop writing. I can't explain tears to coworkers.

I lost my buddy and K-9 partner, Xaros, to cancer on August 25. I'm still upset.

I've used his picture for my avatar for years, and have pictures all over the house.

I started him a website when the cancer was diagnosed in June.

I have been fortunate not to have lost my dog Cody but we have been through alot. I am his 4th owner and he is only 7. He is a German Shephard and on many occassions when he is upset I have layed on the floor beside his dish and hand fed him. This is upsetting enough.

You are all in my thoughts. Our animals are our children.

You guys are great!! Just reading this helps...
