Hello, My wife and I have some time to take a trip around the end of nov, first of dec. I have never dove ? dived? at los cabos and from what i have read it sounds amazing. I am a fairly experienced diver but my wife is a new diver only having been in the warm caribbean. What are diving conditions like in the first part of
December? She has looked at websites that show the water temps are 70 and average air temp barely cracks 80. I'm usually comfortable in a 3mm full. Would we be better off going somewhere else that time of year and save the trip to los cabos for a warmer time of year?

you are right at the end of the warm season, around the middle of dec is when we all put wetsuits on, the first week is still good, there is a ton of fish around, and its only 3 minutes from the marina. mid 70's for the water, it is also a good spot for beginners, shallow and a lot of life to see. has your wife thought about the open water course? do the pool and theory at home just before you come down, then have your paperwork with you, and do the certification dives over 2 days.
