Just called the Salt Point condition line and the report was not good.
13 foot swells with 20 knot wind chop on top of that. Visibility in Gerstle Cove - zero.
Tomorrow the same except the wind will increase.
Sunday, I don't think so either.

Sigh!!!

I wanted to get the boat out of Ocean Cove... Dammit!

Yeah, I took one look at the swell model and knew it would be a bad weekend. Maybe it will be better next week.

Yep, i looked at the swell model and also decided to go home, we were going to hit north marin county, maybe do some fishing and diving, but those swells were way too nasty. I guess a small boat capsized friday, resulted in a drowning.

That is a shame. My condolences to the family, but I do wonder what that person was doing out in an ocean like that.
