Looking to share Sipadan liveaboard room in March

Hi there! I'm hoping to do a Sipadan liveaboard in March, exact timing is flexible. I've noticed substantial surcharges for single occupancy, so would love to be able to split the double-occupany costs with someone. Please let me know if you're interested. Thanks!

I've nearly always traveled solo on liveaboards, and operators will give you the double occupancy rate as long as you're willing to share. If they don't wind up having a roommate for you, you'll get your own room at no extra cost. Enjoy Sipadan! I was just there.

Thanks! I must have misunderstood the "single occupancy surcharge" then - didn't realize they would set up a share situation.

Some people don't want to share. In that case, they will need to pay the supplement and then the room is all theirs. This policy worked in my favor on land stay at Sipidan/Mabul a few years back.

I know Im late but appreciate if you can provide some info.
I will be in Sipadan/Mabul from 28 Mar. Is it possible to join a livaboard and does it go to Layang-Layang?

That would be a really, really long trip with no diving over at least a couple of days. I doubt anyone goes to both places in a single trip.
