We are staying with friends in Myrtle Beach. I'm looking to do at least ONE day of diving during that time period. Give me the best option! A three dive trip would be nice.

I'll drive north as necessary, and I think it WILL be necessary. :D :D

You won't have to drive far. Look up www.dolphindivecharter.com or www.coastalscuba.com. One or the other should be running every day (weather permiting) during that time.

The best option probably depends on where they are going, and what type of dive you are looking for. In other words, I would decide who to dive with based on which site they are going to.

If you really want to drive N, head to Wilmington and check out www.aquaticsafaris.com or www.capefeardivers.com They are both good, and will also probably be running most days during that time.

You might want to reserve in advance, especially if you are interested in a Sat or Sun. Weekend trips fill fast in the summer.

I am going to Myrtle Beach and asked the same questions. Everyone refers tho Dolphin Charters, but I have called them 4 times and they never return my call. I guess the owners wife takes the message, but he never calles back. I had to schedule my dives with Coastal and Nu Horizons.

Maybe you might have better luck with Dolphin.

Call the boat phone (the number is on the website), you will get Capt Tuck directly. If you booked through Nu Horizons you will be on the Dolphin Dive Charter, they use them exculsively (as far as I know).

BTW, NuHorizons are great people, I have met the owner and some of the instructors when I have been out on the Dolphin.

I have a boat in Holden Beach which is about 30 miles north of NMB. If you don't have any luck booking a charter drop me a line. I will most likely be diving that weekend. You may also try Scuba Express which is in Murrel's Inlet which is just south of MB. Good luck
