Hey all!

Semi-new diver getting into the sport and absolutely love it.

Looking to obtain a pre-used light in reasonably good condition, geared towards future use of cave diving

Specificications:

Minimum of 15w
LED Head/Bulb(s)
Rechargeable
Canister Style
Brand Requirements: Light Monkey, Hollis, Halcyon
Full operational with all parts and pieces included for charging, batteries and light fixture.

No wattage listed, no MFG listed and a very good deal...feels like one of those "too good to be true" deals to be honest. Looking for something with one of the three above listed MFG so I can assure the quality to a degree. Thank you though for the link!
 
Wattage indicates the draw on the batteries, not the light output across light emitter technologies. LEDs draw much less current for the same light output compared to other technologies. It's a bit more complicated, but basically you need to compare Lumens (light intensity) and beam angle to get an idea of light output. Making an apples to apples comparison between any light is tough short of looking at them side-by-side.

Definately worth reading the reviews on that light. There is a reason that he sells so many of those light. You may pay three times that much for a quality LED light from one of your three listed, even on the second hand market. Also, have you considered UW Light Dude or Dive Rite lights? Two other big players in the lamp market here stateside. Bobby with UWLightDude is great with customer service, even with owners of second-hand lights.
