I am so looking forward to hitting Coz next Tuesday and diving (along with my daughter and her fiance) Wednesday with Christi's op. My dad died last night, just 5 days shy of my wife's passing on June 11 three years ago. My wife's last dive was in Coz with my daughter and me. Haven't dove with my daughter since, so this is a nice bit of closure for the two of us. And I can't thank Christi enough for all her efforts to help make this happen. She's not only a good business owner, she really does care about each and every diver who books with her. Can't thank her enough for her patience while Jessica and I have been on this "death watch" for my Dad. Wasn't sure if we could make the trip. And man do we need to get in the water. Thanks again Christi, you're a good soul.

Condolences on the loss of your father. My father passed away 19 years ago next month - I know what you must be going through. I still fondly remember all the fishing trips we used to take, and all the golf games we shared. Enjoy your trip with your daughter and her fiance, and remember all the good memories of your father.

Best wishes for an awesome trip and a lifetime of happy memories.
Please take your daughter and soon to be SIL to Chen Rio on the east side for lunch.
Take a taxi south to rasta's for a south tip of the isla toast, Next stop liquor box for a hand squeezed fruit drink or a mojito, (best on the island, Hang out in the hammocks on the beach, then to chen rio for lunch.
Order the whole fried fish.
Play in the tidal pools and find a spot along the ledge to sit in an ocean massage where the waves wash over the ledge.
Do it. Do it early in your trip so you can do it again and again.

Yes, my friend. I turned her on to that years ago. Coconuts, the tequila factory...even did a little body surfacing on the east side. There's also a great trail ride over there if you're into horses. Been doing Coz for ten years, every year. There's so much stuff on the leeward side of the island people, sadly, don't explore the whole island. I always rent a car just for that purpose. You'll sometimes see large boa constrictors and huge iguanas crossing the road when you explore the "wild side." Interestingly, the snakes are not indigenous to the island. I believe it was in the 1970s when a film crew shooting a movie just carelessly released the snakes after the filming. Stupid move, it really upset the ecological balance.
