Looking for trips and buddies for this summer

I am a professor at a university in the DFW area and will not be teaching this summer (at least not much). I wanted to do a substantial amount of diving but need buddies. If you are planning trips and have space, both Texas, US, and maybe even Caribbean then let me know.

I am going to Cozumel May 6-12 with my wife, but that is the only trip she will be able to go with me. I plan on doing the Flower Gardens - would like to do a 3 day trip, maybe the one June 23-26.

If you want to do local stuff, or have other ideas for this summer, especially week days, then let me know. I am also interested in doing the Dive Around Texas 2013 whenever the info comes out on it. If you would like to plan some trips with me, let me know. I am looking forward to meeting some other divers - I just got back into it last summer after being out of it for a very long time.

Hi, am an attorney who lives and works in the Austin area. Im 45yo, and starting diving only a year ago....after losing about 100lbs. Its just something I always wanted to do. I am open water certified, and plan on taking the advanced certification in the next month or so, probably at the Dive Shop in San Marcos. At any rate, finding good dive buddies is always difficult. If you are interested in diving at Lake Travis, Canyon Lake, or even Clear Springs or Athens Scuba Park at all this summer, let me know. My schedule is hectic at times, but I can always bail out of the office for a dive or two.
