Looking for spearfishing partner Monterey Bay

I moved to Monterey about a year ago. Haven't done much diving since I haven't found a partner. I'm big on scuba spearfishing. If anyone wants to meet up to dive from time to time that would be great. I'm a responsible diver and hunter, only take what I plan to eat. I'm looking to go out this Sunday probably Del Monte Beach for halibut.

Well...I'm moderately interested in learning to spearfish near Monterey as well. Plan to dive something like lobos or monastery this weekend. Have a kayak and would like to put it to use...Thinking of acquiring a pole spear but dont have anything related to hunting yet...

I need to find that link to the diver with the spear through his head... I'm a firm believer in hunting alone with a spear gun.. pole Spears be careful..
