Looking for old Sherwood/Genesis valve plug

Broke up a set of doubles to use for my kid. It only came with one of the plugs to convert back to single tank. It’s also a 7/8 valve, so that adds to the challenge of finding parts.

Specifically looking for the plug that goes where the doubles manifold came out.

IIRC the thread is the same for most any manifold. That is the cross over is not specific to the 7/8 tank valve.

No luck unfortunately. I’m not sure it even exists tbh. It should be a left hand version of this Genesis New Scuba Diving Tank Valve Plug with Fine Threads Modular Valve (Right Hand)- Buy Online in Guernsey at guernsey.desertcart.com. ProductId : 3985511.

I would take it to the shop with the plug you have and see if they have one in their random parts box. Another solution may be to go on ebay and buy another valve. Valves from decommissioned tanks are pretty readily available, so it might be easier (and possibly cheaper) to buy a valve and stow the twin until you need it.

Edit: The 7/8” thing makes it a pisser. I would take the valve to the LDS and ask if they have the part in their random parts collection. I doubt the sizing is unique and they probably have one from a when they twinned some tanks or decommissioned one.

The plugs are the same as any other genesis manifold valve. Call John at northeast scuba supply. Odds are he has what you need
