Hi:
I am new to this site so please be gentle. I am looking for anyone from Fort Erie, Niagara Falls, CA, Tobermory, Port Colburn (sp?), etc. If anyone knows of my husband Ian Lowden or myself,his wife, Karen, through having him be your PADI Instuctor all around that area, I am desparately looking to speak with you. Or anyone at Sherkston Shores. It is my sad duty to inform you all of Ian's passing away in my arms on early Sun. morning, Sept. 19th/10. If you do know us and want to reach me you can do so by emailing me through Ian's email addy (as mine is all wonky for some reason.) His addy is:

If I respond to you I will be writing in the Subject Line "This is from Karen" so you know that even tho it says that it's from Ian Lowden, you will know otherwise. I am still finding pieces of my heart on the floor around where he collapsed. To date, none of the officials know what the cause of his passing was due to.
I hope this reaches many of the hundreds of divers he taught. It is a very sad time and I'm not sure when I will ever be able to be free of his being there for me whenever I needed him. I will miss him forever.
If anyone could even get to Ed's Pro Dive or Dan's Dive, Shop both in Port Dalhousie, that would problably be the best way to find people who knew us.
I look forward to hearing from anyone who might be able to help me. We just celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary and 18-1/2 years together all total.
