I'm looking for suggestions for a great instructor and location to get my Rescue & Solo/Self-reliant certs.

More specifically, I'm looking for a warm water destination this fall/winter (Nov - March) that's within the US, including US territories -- USVI & Puerto Rico, etc. Bonus points for beaches & activities for a non-diver and ease of travel from the US east coast.

As a point of reference, we love Cozumel, so similar activities (walking, dining, some cultural/historic sites) would be strongly preferred over bars/clubs & AI hotels.
