Question Looking for Ice Diving Opportunities in Sweden – Advice and Contacts Needed

Hi everyone,

I’m an experienced diver (certified and with several dives in cold water) and I’m planning to organize an ice diving adventure in Sweden this winter. My goal is to connect with passionate individuals, dive clubs, or professional associations specializing in ice diving/tech diving.

Specifically, I’d like to:

1. Find reliable contacts (clubs, independent divers, guides) who operate ice dives.
2. Learn about the best regions or lakes for unique ice diving experiences (Abisko, Torneträsk, etc.).
3. Understand the logistical requirements (gear rentals, certifications, etc.).

If anyone has firsthand experience diving under the ice in Sweden or knows someone I can get in touch with, I’d really appreciate your input!
